Artist Statement
Handcrafted sterling silver jewellery that fits as easily with a ‘little black dress’ as it does with jeans and a t-shirt. Simple and stylish silver rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants and necklaces featuring semi-precious stones. Texture and satin finish are often used to give a contemporary feel.
Having been brought up in Derbyshire I have known its peaks and dales since childhood. Drystone walls and ancient tracks cross and divide this land, telling of its past. The atmosphere and colours of the moorland, fields and local quarries are constantly changing. These are the influences and feelings which inspire my semi-abstract paintings.
