Artist Statement
In my work I use a wide range of materials: hand printed papers, fabrics, transfer foils, threads and beads, in fact anything I've got in my large "stash" which is crying out to be used in a particular piece of work!
I love doing mixed media collage, often inspired by the Peak District where I live, and also the Northumberland coast.
Silver birch trees have captivated me this year which has inspired my textile work this year.
I also make one-off, unique picture cards which can be framed or sent as a greeting card..
