Andrew Grantham: part-time potter based in Hayfield, makes slipped earthenware and stoneware pots for everyday use and enjoyment.
Kate Priestman is a self-taught graphite artist, specialising in drawings of wildlife.

David Lowther’s work has so far been largely associated with the streets of Manchester. His love of mark making now takes him away from the urban landscape as he finds inspiration from the colour, light and textures of the Peak District.

Tricia Harrison: is an artist and sculptor now living in Derbyshire. She has a studio at home where she works, teaches and undertakes commissions.
Her principal interest has always been figurative art, finding inspiration in angles, facial features, clothing and jewellery, age, ethnicity and attitude. She is currently producing unique semi-abstract sculptures, using Ashraf Hanna Professional clay for its strength and workability.
Once fired, the work is finished with metal oxides (and fired again) or real bronze or iron spray paint with a rust enhancer. She experiments with bands of leather and stiffened hessian to add colour, shape and texture.

Tony Harrison: The Occasional Potter - Tony is a retired transport planning consultant now living in Derbyshire. He throws and hand-builds unique stoneware pieces inspired by the shapes and designs of the Orient. His work therefore aims to display simple elegance and functionality and includes vases, bowls, containers and kitchen utensils. Some items are embellished with Chinese calligraphy and related motifs. Commercial glazes are used that are suitable for tableware. His other main interests are gardening and walking, so he is only “The Occasional Potter”.

Helen Jacobs: lives and works at Peak Potters. She runs ceramics courses, clay parties and one-off bookable sessions from the venue for all ages and abilities. She is passionate about clay and enjoys nothing more than seeing the relaxing, rewarding and therapeutic effects of it on her customers when they come to create.
For Derbyshire Open Arts, she will be exhibiting her porcelain pots decorated with expressive freehand brushstrokes of blue slip.
