Artist Statement
All my artwork stems from both the physical and digital manipulation of original photographic images, often using architectural and close-up photography as a starting point. The initial photograph may be deliberately mutilated by burning or ripping, and by combining with other materials. The result, when deemed satisfactory, is then rephotographed as a digital file and extensively reworked in Lightroom and Photoshop. The end product, a fine art ink-jet print using archival inks, comes as part of a limited edition series.
