As a former musician, Maggie Robinson has brought her music to her landscapes.  In relating melody, harmony ad rhythm to the English Countryside, each painting is recorded with a musical title and and Opus number.  Her work is a contemporary, bold and colourful representation. http://www.maggiesart.co.uk

Roger Waterhouse works mainly with locally sourced wood.  In turning ‘green’ pieces he finds unusual and interesting figuring.  His work finds the hidden beauty in the depths.

Ray Sylvester makes a range of unique wooden boxes, which are beautiful to look at, a delight to handle and very practical.

Contemporary folk artist Sue Prince uses traditional egg tempera on linen and inspired by Swedish folk art she tells stories of people and places. Almost medieval in her reduced palette, she produces harmonious images as she tells a tale.  She lives at our venue, Beechenhill Farm.

Mark Langley lives and works near Belper.  Inspired by landscape, architecture and animals, his work is drawn or painted in a very meticulous and detailed style.  His style attracts many commissions.   http://www.mark-langley.com

Inspiration for Joanna Bunbury is found in her deep connection with the natural world’s ebb and flow.  Cones, seedpods and urchins all play their part in the design of these organic forms.  Joanna uses press moulding and pinching techniques before impressing the surface for texture.

Using all the precious metals, Karin Sheldon interprets her natural and urban surroundings via various ancient techniques.  ‘Nature Walk’ in the English Countryside.  ‘Tutti-Frutti’ enjoys a world of colour and ‘Scribble’ is just fun.  https://www.karinsheldon.co.uk/

Steve Elliott’s pastel and mixed media paintings seek to capture the spirit and atmosphere of the Peak District. Moorlands and skylines provide rich inspiration for his vibrant and light-filled paintings.  http://www.steveelliott.net

Gary Sampson’s ceramics will be at Beechenhill.  His wheel thrown stoneware is for use in the home. Gary fires the work at 1280 to 1300 degrees with his own glazes. Recently he has been making more individual pieces.

Tim Rose works in both oils and watercolour.  His subject matter ranges from architecture to portraits.  Observing light and illumination is an essential part of Tim’s work while he paints plein air or in the studio.   http://www.timroseartist.com
