Artist Statement
A range of hand-thrown functional stoneware, decorated with multi layered glazes, fired in an electric kiln. Each of the resulting bowls, plates, jugs, mugs and vases are unique and reflect the beauty of the ever changing colours of the Derbyshire landscape.Together with his ceramic artist wife Lesley he runs and makes his work at hotHouse ceramic studio and gallery in Sudbury Shopping Courtyard, Sudbury Village DE6 5EB. Here visitors can watch work being made and view and purchase an extensive range of ceramics, along with work from a new featured guest artist every month. Terry also offers one to one throwing workshop for individuals to have a two hour hands on experience.
