This will be the fourth year for the very popular Arts at The Folly. We are delighted to be part of Derbyshire Open Arts for 2020 and will have six local artists and artisans at The Folly.

Kate Beinder: Kate's fourth year exhibiting at The Folly. After several years as a landscape and portrait painter, Kate moved into mixed media last year, almost by accident, after a walk on a Scottish beach. She now creates unique and quirky pictures of animals, people, families, flowers etc using natural materials and Brusho paints. Pictures to make you smile!  www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KateBeinderArt

Zoe Adamson: Zoe is also on her fourth year at The Folly. Zoe is a recycled materials artist. Her work includes recycled plastics and reused metals to create wearable and decorative art inspired both by Derbyshire's nature and industrial past. Zoe works from her home in Belper where she experiments with new ideas and materials. www.adamsonjewellery.co.uk

Stuart Jones: back for his second year exhibiting at The Folly. Based in Fenny Bentley in the heart of Derbyshire Stuart makes unique and rustic items of furniture from pallet wood and reclaimed timber. Beautifully finished , every piece big or small is glued, screwed, stained and all knots treated. Finally everything is finished with beeswax for a warm mellow finish. Janet Humphrey: first year at The Folly. Frances Daunt: Frances has taken part in all previous Arts at The Folly exhibitions. She is an animal artist with work in private collections worldwide. Pet portraits and commissions available. Further information: www.francesdaunt.com

Lynn Hazel: Lynn's first year exhibiting at The Folly. Tactile & charming creatures are created by Derbyshire artist Lynn. Lynn’s stunning pieces are hand built from stoneware clays, inspired by her deep passion for British wildlife, an expression of her fascination and love of the natural world. Lynn’s sculptures are based from direct observation and secondary source material. She has worked on commissions for Sir David Attenborough, Bill Oddie OBE and the late Pollyanna Pickering.
