Artist Statement
Beverley creates unique paintings which are inspired by the ever changing skies and the rugged terrain of the Peak District and the majestic mountains set within the rich seasonal landscapes of the Scottish Highlands.
She works from her home in the High Peak and paints predominantly in acrylics and charcoal but has recently become a lover of oils.Her aim is to translate the memories which are evoked from walking daily, capturing the light, atmosphere and texture of these wild open spaces onto canvas. Not confined to one subject, Beverley also paints animals and still life usually as commissioned pieces.
