Artist Statement
Handwoven, individual pieces of textile wall art.
My inspiration comes from a variety of sources, often with a natural element, such as the colours of autumn. I also like to use yarns or fibres that are left over, or previously used. Thus, a number of pieces include baler twine.
Weaving is an old technology with simple rhythms, so the pieces that I produce are ideal for creating a colourful presence in an easy to view composition. A variety of pieces are mounted and ready for you to frame to suit your situation, alternatively pieces can be made on commission to enhance an established interior design colour palette.
